Regular house cleaning is the service most homes book on a schedule. It is designed for routine maintenance: removing the everyday dust, dirt, and buildup so the home stays fresh and comfortable between visits.
What it includes should never be a mystery. Here is the room-by-room checklist a WellMaid regular cleaning follows.

Living areas
Living rooms, dining rooms, and other spaces get the same care as bedrooms, plus glass surfaces and desks cleaned and cushions and pillows fluffed and straightened.
A few details worth knowing
Dishes. Dishes are loaded into the dishwasher when it is empty. Hand washing is not part of the service, so running the dishwasher the night before helps.
Beds. Beds are made at every visit. Changing the sheets is available as the Bed Making add-on.
Light organizing. Surfaces are straightened as they are cleaned, but decluttering a room is a different job. The preparation guide explains how a few minutes of tidying lets the team reach more.
Supplies. The team brings its own vacuums, mops, microfiber cloths, and cleaning solutions, and uses only green, eco-friendly products, with priority given to certified ones.
Add-ons for the areas that need more
These are available for an extra fee and can be requested when you book:
- Bed Making: $8 per bed
- Sofa Vacuuming: $10 per sofa
- Inside Oven: $40
- Inside Refrigerator: $40
- Interior Windows: $40
- Inside Cabinets: $60 to $100
- Porch Cleaning: $20
- Carpet Shampooing: custom quote
What regular cleaning is not designed for
Heavy buildup, excessive clutter, or areas that have gone a long time without attention usually need more time, or a different service altogether. That is what a deep cleaning is for. Our guide to Regular Cleaning vs. Deep Cleaning explains how to tell which one fits.
If a home turns out to be quite different from what was described, we talk with you before changing anything. You are never charged for additional work without your knowledge and approval.
